Edmonds Gets Prepared For The 2010 MXoN (Aug 27, 2010)
TM UK Rider Stuart Edmonds is working hard in preparation for the upcoming Motocross Of Nations which is to be held at the Thunder Valley Motorsport Park facilty on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado in September. Stuart will be representing his native home of Ireland once more alongside team-mates Gordon Crockard and Martin Barr in this prestigious annual event.
Stuarts TM 450 MX1 class machinery and necessary equipment will be heading off to the US next week to arrive there in time for some valuable set-up and practice. Before setting off for Denver on the 20th of September Stuart is training hard so he is ready for the demanding circuit and elevation changes, elavation changes which at 6100ft above sea level reduce the oxygen content by a good 25%, to help Stuart with this massive change and to assist his aclimatisation Stuart will be visiting Bath University's science department where he can train in a sealed chamber with the oxygen content reduced to simulate the high altitude conditions.
With only a few weeks to go Stuart is looking forward to getting out there and getting on with the job and we are sure he will 'give it his all' in the name of Ireland.
