Gozzini And TM Win Supermotard Of Nations (Feb 27, 2010)
Davide Gozzini once again showed the Supermotard world that the combination of his talents and his astonishing TM 660 SMX are a forced to be reckoned with.
After last years success for 'Gozzo' and the TM 660 SMX in the Supermotard of Nations where he was the highest individual points scoring rider the still reigning Italian National Champion and 2008 World Championship Runner-up again stamped his mark on proceedings this year in Pleven, Bulgaria.
Together with his team mates Lazarrini and Pignotti they managed to overthrow the competion and with an incredible convincing win by Gozzini after starting at the back of the back the title was secured and the honours went with them back to Italy.
Gozzini commented....
" my victory in race 2 was fantastic, i started at the back of the pack and won!, my team mates have also done a great job and we have given to our country this important trophy. i just won the Italian Championship again, now the trophy of nations, now next week i have the last round of the world Championship, i will do everthing possible to conclude with another great result for this fantastic year "
