Remes Back on the Podium  (Jul 25, 2017)

Last weekend saw the sixth round of the 2017 Enduro World Championship where the small village of Castel Branco, Portugal, organized an excellent race from all the points of view.

In the Enduro 2 class, our Eero Remes has returned, climbing to the third step of the podium on day two, however, on day one he struggled a little. With all his strength Eero tried to win a podium place but had to settle for a fourth place on Saturday.

A great performance also for Manuel Monni in Enduro 2 at this Portuguese event. The Italian rider finished with a sixth place and a great fifth place.

Emanuele Facchetti has finally demonstrated his talent and the end result is a ninth and a sixth place in the Junior class, a great result for him in Portugal also.

Now the Enduro World Championship stops for about two months and then returns with the GP of England in September and the GP of Germany in October.

“On the first day of the race I ride very slow and did not find the right feeling. Different story in Day 2, in which I ran a great race without making mistakes ”

“A positive weekend and two great results that definitely boost the moral. Now a long break before the final rush ”

“I’m happy with the two results, I did not go very fast in the extreme, but I’m happy with the two results.”
