The first event of the 2017 British Enduro Championship took place this past Easter weekend in the Scottish coastal town of Elgin.

The beautiful beach side town played host once again to the BEC and a large entry of riders headed north over the bank holiday to contest this first round.

Lasermaster TM UK rider, Josh Gotts, completed his first event on the new TM 300Fi ENes machine and after finishing 7th on both days earned himself 6th overall. A great result on a machine that Josh had only collected earlier in the week, with very little time to adjust both himself and the machine in readiness it was a steep learning curve, but Josh adapted incredibly well.

Also joining Josh at this event was the Metcon CCM Racing MX team riders of Stuart Edmonds and Dylan Stynes, both riding large capacity 2 strokes. Stuart weekend did not start so well after a de-railed chain ate the spokes of his rear wheel and led to its demise forcing Stuart to end the day early. However up and running again on day two Stuart posted some exceptional times and for his efforts finished day two in 5th overall, 2nd in class.

Dylan was the 'rookie' this time out competing in his first ever 'timecard' event, Dylan soon got to grips with 'Enduro' competition and for his efforts took a 9th on day one and 7th on day two in the E2 class.

Well done to all involved and a big thank you to all of the teams sponsors and supporters.
