Stynes Starts Strong  (Mar 14, 2017)

Dylan Stynes gets his 2017 Maxxis British Championship MXY2 campaign off to a great start. Competing at the first round at Culham, Oxfordshire, this past weekend the young Irishman showed some great form in some testing conditions.

Riding his CCR / Metcon / CCM Racing TM 250Fi MX machine, Dylan started the day well qualifying 11th in the ultra competitive field of youth riders. Giving himself a good gate pick for the 2 race schedule Dylan got a flying start in race 1, where he held 2nd place early doors, before taking the first chequered flag of the day in 4th place.

Race 2 once again witnessed Dylan making an impressive start, however a mistake on lap one dropped him severely down the order. Working hard to regain places in the time left 10th place was as far as he could climb before the chequered flag appeared once again.

These two results gave Dylan joint 6th overall for the day, and being the first round, joint 6th in the current championship standings.

A big well done to Dylan and of course a big thank you to all of the team sponsors and supporters.
