Rodrig Thain On The Podium At WEC Grand Prix Of Portugal (Mar 3, 2010)
with a typical summer climate to begin the Enduro World Championship in Penafiel near Porto and with Michelez and Kvarnstrom still recovering fron injury, Rodig Thain was to defend the colours of the Pesarese team excellantly, bringing his Factory TM 450cc machine to third place in the E2 standings.
Thanks to the hard work over the winter months, Rodrig was able to be competitive right from the first special test where he recorded the fastest overall time. fighting for the podium position, Thain penalized himself in the extreme test by losing vital seconds after contact with Johnny Aubert.
A fourth on Saturday and third on Sunday allowed Rodrig Thain and TM Racing to take third place in the world rankings, demonstrating that the French-Italian duo can fight for the top.
Rodrig Thain: " I should be happy, but i am not so!, i was at ease on the extreme test and this has affected me very much, especially on Saturday. Anyway, i look forward, we are only at the beginning and i am confident of the potential that both me and my bike have. "
