Murro Takes A Clean Sweep At Condover (May 4, 2010)

Road Land and Sea TM rider Jim Murro , scored a perfect hatrick of race wins at the recent Condover AMCA meeting run by SMX.
The races had a host of exceptionally quick riders including some of the top championship boys all looking to take the honours on the day, including Jamie Dobson, Jamie Powell, Shaun Pearce, Darren Dobson, Ryan Jones , Race 1 , Murro took the holeshot with the rest in a tussle for the remaining places, his domination soon showed through with the lead being increased at the flag. Race 2, fast away Dobson took the initial lead with Murro managing to position himself in third, Murro pushed hard and eventually on lap 2 made his move on the leader in a spectacular move he thundered his TM450 to the lead taking the second race. Race 3. well what can we say..........."probably the best AMCA race of the year" Murro must have had a moment on the gate.....he left in last position....yes last...well he certainly had his work cut out. Dobson ,Pearce , Powell.........all made it away and lead the field, everyone in the paddock wondered where the TM rider was!!, half way round the circuit Murro had made his way through to a gallant 15th and by the end of the first lap had made it to 7th place...........could Murro do any more???? taking a deep breath the following laps were a joy to watch as Murro cut his way to the front four with just over 2 laps remaining, using all of the track and sometimes the fencing Murro managed to position himself in second place........could it be done!!!!!.......with the last lap flag out Murro hooked on to the race leader Jamie Dobson...Jamie was not going to give the race up easily...Murro tried to make the pass several times .............it all was left to the final corner, not 25 meters from the line Murro made his final attempt in a last push he took the race win by a bikes length.
