TM UK Youth Rider Weekend Round-Up  (Aug 10, 2015)

TM UK's youth team TM 85 MX riders, Archie Hicks and Callum Gasson, both took to the track this weekend, albeit at differing race meetings some distance apart, with both riders achieving a great set of results.

Young Archie took his TM 85 MX Big Wheel machine to Grittenham, Wilts, for the Kensworth ACU meeting, a nice local meeting this weekend for Archie and his crew. Archie put in three sterling rides ending his day with two wins and a third place, a bad start costing him in the last race of the day, but a good ride pulled it all back together to keep him at the top of the score charts and take the overall victory.

Meanwhile at Hawkstone Park for the MX Nationals, Callum Gasson went to battle with his fellow GT Cup and BYN opponents in preparation for this weekends British Youth Nationals finale at Fatcat Moto Park. 'Mr Smooth' put on great display of controlled and calculated riding on his TM 85 MX Big Wheel machine to end his weekend with 3 / 3 / 4 / 3 scorecard, and for his consistency, took a great second overall for the weekend. SMR MX Team rider, Sam Beresford also competed at this event on his TM 85 MX machine and took 14th overall for his efforts.

Finally a mention for Sam Hunt, the Cornish hot-shot who is being supported by TM UK's Enduro Team owner, John Gotts. John, the owner of Lasermaster, lives a stones throw from the Hunt family and has watched Sam progress throughout the years, in his convincing style, John decided it was time for a change of machinery for Sam and that a new TM was the answer. Young Sam competed in his first event on his recently purchased TM Racing 85 MX machine this weekend and has already taken to his new steed incredibly well, Sam ended his first event on the TM with a 1 / 1 / 1 maximum, taking the overall victory.

Well done to all of the riders and their crew, a great weekend for the TM 85 MX machines and their pilots. A big thank you to all of our sponsors who make all of this possible. Thank you, TM UK.
