A day to remember for TM Racing, its riders and their technicians as they look forward in preparation to the Supermoto Grand Prix of Great Britian.
Thierry Van Den Bosch showed his intentions with a dominant display at the Italian Supermoto Championship held in Latina, Italy. Fastest in practice and throughout qualifying Thierry then swept the board by taking wins in both S1 class races on his TM 450 SMX as well as being victorious in the International race.
It was also a great day for S2 class pilot Davide Gozzini who recorded his third consecutive victory on his TM 660 SMX. Taking a win in race one and finishing second behind Adrien Chareyre in race two was enough to give Davide the overall. Andrea Occhini was once again on form too, finishing third in race two and eight in race one, recovering after a fall.
The day concluded with the International race which saw the top six riders from both S1 and S2 classes go head to head. Adrien Chareyre lead away from the start but within three laps both Thierry and Davide had made their way past and began to pull clear. Thierry took the victory on the TM 450 SMX whilst his team-mate Davide finished only fractions of a second behind him in second place on the TM 660 SMX, with Occhini rounding of the top six.
Round four of the Italian Supermoto Championship will be held in Viterbo on the 7th of June.
