Thain On The Podium At Pievebovigliana (Mar 12, 2010)
TM Rider Rodrig Thain who participates in the Italian National Enduro Championships as training for the WEC secured another podium in the 'Foriegners class' ranking.
Finishing third behind only Ahola and Meo, with Remes and Seistola fourth and fifth respectively, Thain battled the dry dusty conditions to place himself in third place on both days of the competition.
Returning from injury that has basically not allowed him to compete for most of the year, Friuli policeman Maurizio Michelez fought hard on both days, finishing the event in respectable placings for his comeback event. On his return to competition Michelez finished in fourth place on day one and sixth on day two, showing himslef to be very fast in the early stages untill his lack of bike time and therefore fitness became apparent.
TM 250 2 stroke rider Luca Cherubini also finished the event on the podium, recording two second position placing behind winner Belometti.
