TM Racing has recorded its maiden Supermoto Wolrd Championship win by taking the S1 class title for 2009.
With the combination of TM Racing's incredible 450smx machine and its pilot, 35 year old Frenchman Thierry Van-Den-Bosch, the pairing have had a fairy tale season. With Thierry being signed to TM only a week prior to the first round there was little time to fully prepare, having only ridden the machine a number of times it was a true testament to both Thierry and TM when he went on to take the overall win at this years first World Supermoto Championship round in Viterbo, Italy. Gaining the red plate in Italy he was never to loose it, holding the red plate all season he was finally awarded the gold plate for his World Championship Win in final round Spain.
Thierry commented.. "I am very happy with this world championship title because it has been the most difficult for me, I dedicate this victory to TM and 747 motorsport team because they believed me enough to even give me a place in the team even after the bugdets for the season had been allocated. My bike and my technicians have worked very hard this year to give me everything i needed and i thank them a lot for this. After the collarbone injury i have suffered a lot and i arrived at the end of this GP exhausted, now i want to relax and enjoy this world title in peace with my wife and my son".
