
Van Beers, a name synonymous with world stage Motocross, is back with one of its long term sponsors and is all set to contest the 2012 Motocross Grand Prix Series running TM Racing machinery.
Adri Van Beers quickly reached and argreement with SKS BV director Toine Uijttewaal to form the 2012 team, SKS BV was closely involved in the previous Van Beers team as sponsor, and with both principals being equally passionate about motocross and contributing into to the development of the sport the team, for sure, will have good backing.
Toine Uijttewaal will part time assist with the team structure, future strategy, marketing and sponsorship management whilst Adri Van Beers will take care of all operational activities, riders coaching and the smooth running of the team as full time team manager.
Shortly after the team principles had finalised the structure of the team, they also concluded an agreement with the Italian TM Racing factory to run the MX2 factory team through their structure. TM shares the passion for motocross and are dedicated to producing quality, competitive motorcycles ready for top level competition as we are all aware, this fact made TM Racing an easy choice to partner the new team venture.
The team will be called 'SKS-Polned TM Factory Racing' and will compete in the MX2 class using TM Racing's 250Fi MX machine with the following two GP riders of.. Andrea Cevellin (IT) and Nick Kouwenberg (NL).
The principles are also currently in negotiations with some European Championship riders in order to expand the team and create a larger structure in the near future. The team will be based in a new 250 square metre facility in Valkenswaard in the Netherlands and working In close co-operation with the TM factory, the team principals are aiming to put the new team on the map in 2012. For the long term the team wants to expand with support of international sponsors, who want to associate themselveswith a professional team appearance and the fantastic sport of Motocross.
