With a small break from British Championship and Red Bull rounds to contest the TM riders of Stuart Edmonds and Ryan Pottenger headed off to Hawkstone Park this past weekend to join Amateur MX2 rider Chas Statt at the Wulfsport British Masters series.

In the MX2 Pro Class it was Stuart who decided to give himself some real work to do around the world renowned circuit and competed in the 250 four stroke dominated Pro field on a TM 125cc 2-Stroke machine, after a couple of tumbles in the first race and a bad start in race two Stuart battled hard for 25 minutes + keeping the little 125 on song and came home with 2 eleventh place finishes taking 9th overall on the day.

In the Pro MX1 class Ryan Pottenger joined Stuart and the pair swapped machines with Stuart riding Ryan's 450cc TM machine and Ryan riding Stuart's 250cc 2-stroke machine, in race one Stuart powered the 450 to a fourth place finish whilst Ryan could only manage 17th place. In race two Stuart opted to sit this one out as the earlier tumbles off the 125 machine were taking there toll and he was suffering from an extremlely aching back, Ryan however improved on his first race result with a fifteenth place finish.

The talk of the town once more was young Chas Statt on his TM 125cc 2-Stroke machine, in the again '250F dominated' class, Chas started Saturday with a flyer which saw him pole the qualifying session by a second, he then went on to take the first race victory but in race two could only manage 4th place after a rear brake problem hampered his charge. In Sunday's 2 races it was again to be a victory first time out for Chas but for the final of the four races of the weekend it all went pear-shaped, with the overall in his sights a first lap crash, after getting tangled in some other riders accident, saw Chas in 26th position on lap one. Still.. not one to give up Chas battled hard through the field and showed to all once again that in the right hands the humble 125cc machine can really do some damage, cutting through the pack Chas fought his way into fifth place, this gave him a 1 - 4 -1 - 5 scorecard and third overall for the day, Chas now sits in 4th place in the 2011 championship standings with the year end podium firmly in his sights.

With thanks to all of our sponsors and supporters, thank you TM UK.
