Teutchenthal, Germany: We have arrived for round 9 of the 2011 Motocross World Championship.
This event in Germany confirmed to the world the very high level of competition and the quality and talents of the riders in the Motocross World Championships, especially in the MX1 Class were we bore witness to a new rider taking to the front and winning Grand Prix races, the Russian, Bobryschev. Unfortunately the wheel of fortune does not turn so well for the TM Factory Racing Team and even less so for the strong Estonian pilot, Tanel Leok.
MX1 Race One: The Factory TM pilot takes off in the middle of the group but again he falls, he tries to remount quickly before the 'best of the best' get too far ahead, charging onwards after this spill Tanel is blessed with mis-fortune again... another rider looks the other way when Tanel attempts to overtake him, they collide and he finds himself on the ground once more, He gets up immediately and gets back in the saddle but the time available is not so long and the TM rider can only regain himself to fifteenth position.
MX1 Race Two: The Estonian Express starts the race in around fifteenth position, lap after lap he increases his pace and with it his positioning in the pack, Tanel soon finds himself inside the top ten in ninth place, but here we go again.... this time it is a minor technical problem which halts Tanel's progress and forces him to retire from the race. Ok.. let's take it in our stride, this is racing at it's best, It can happen, now let us hope it is finished and that lady luck looks toward the TM Team and especially also to Tanel, who needs it!!.
MX2 Race One: The young Czech pilot, Petr Smitka, re-enters the World Championship after an injury obtained in France, unfortunately his physical conditioning is not the best because the injury forced Petr to an extended period of rest, but Petr is strong and nevertheless the fact that he isn't in the best of shape does not enter his mind and he throws himself in the mix and gains twenty-first position at the flag.
MX2 Race Two: The tiredness is now felt by Petr and the time between races to recuperate is not long enough for the weakended rider, he does not want to take risks and instead keeps his rhythm steady in an effort not to put himself in a compromising position or forcing a crash, Petr rides at a pace he knows he can sustain and finished the race in twenty-fourth position, he is tired but is now confident that his recently injured arm is holding up well.
