Enduro World Championship - GP of Romania  (Jul 19, 2011)

Buzau, Romania: After the double transfer to Turkey and Greece the World circus lands in Romania to dispute the seventh EWC event. With illustrious accidents and minor troubles the season has been full of surprises for the TM Factory Enduro Team and we enter this event with renewed hope and with much excitement that we can achieve better then before.

Day One: The first day did not give us any surprises, those who try hardest came away with the results and for the TM pilots tried hard to better their previous performances. Julien Gauthier ended the day fifth in the E1 Class whilst Aigar Leok, who is still learning on his Enduro appreticeship, finishes seventh in the E2 class.

Day Two: With some machine alterations and some motivational coaching of the pilots overnight by the team the TM riders start the day full of confidence, In the E1 Class Julien takes off steadily increasing his pace as the day unfolds, and with special test after special test he manages to better his performance of Saturday by one position, gaining a good final fourth position. Aigar also takes off well and is soon in battle with the aces of the E2 class, the day seems to have changed for better but in the last special test the Estonain pilot commits an error which force him to lose a lot of time to his rivals, putting him in thirteenth position at the days end.

The next EWC round, the GP of Andorra, will be contested on the 3rd and 4th September, this event will also mark the return of the Team Manager, Luca Cherubini, who was involved in an horrific road accident a few months ago during the GP of Portugal, due to Luca's physical fitness he has recuperated in record time and we cannot wait for his return to the EWC competition to manage the TM team and motivate it's riders.
