GP SWEDEN
Uddevalla: The Motocross world championship circus chose the beautiful Uddervalle district in Sweden for round 8 of the 2011 series and the TM Racing Team arrived at the event with great expectations after the fantastic 2nd position finish obtained by Tanel Leok in the MX1 class at the last round in Spain, to further these expectations Tanel put himself into 7th position in the time qualification on Saturday.
MX1 Race One: The first race begins and the TM Racing pilot takes off quickly with a good jump from the start-gate but unfortunately halfway down the start straight contact with another pilot causes an incredible crash!, Tanel gets catapulted forward and is thrown from his machine. Tanel remounts his TM Racing machine quickly but by now the group has gone, however, The Estonian Express takes off and works hard for the entire race coming home in a well earned 14th position.
MX1 Race Two: Tanel prepares himself at the starting gate determined to better the result of race one after recovering well from the start straight crash. Sadly for Tanel luck is not on his side in Sweden and after only a few laps he manages to loosen the cap on the radiator in low turn with his boot forcing his machine to eject its cooling liquid, Tanel knows this is disastrous and riding carefully and slowly he returns his machine to the pit area and into a frustrating retirement.
