The 'Hurricane' Brought The Rain ! (Jun 23, 2011)
The Team TM UK Cobra youth squad were in action once again at the latest round of the British IOPD Championship held at the Cwmythig Hill circuit in Rhayader, Wales this past weekend.
Archie 'The Hurricane' Hicks and Zak 'Attack' Clarke took part in the 2 day event on their Cobra CX65 machinery and it was a day of mixed results for both riders, On day one in the wet conditions Archie stromed off into the distance and was a minute clear of second placed rider Harry Edmondson at the flag, Archie and Harry riders were the only two riders to accumalate 9 laps. Zak had work to do after stalling his machine on the start and came from the back of the pack through to 6th place at the conclusion.
Day two started with the wet conditions continuing, after some hard fought battles Archie could only manage 2nd place today coming home closely behind Ryan 'The Rocket' Rowlands whilst team-mate Zak came home in the final podium placing in third.
