2011 Wulfsport British Master Championship - Foxhill.

With the bulk of the TM UK Team attending the ACU British 2-Stroke Championships it was up to the remaining TM UK Team riders of Chas Statt and Ashley Greedy to fly the flag at this round of the series.

With some bad weather leading up to, and during the event, the condition of Wiltshire circuit was much talked about, however the circuit stood up well and gave a good weekends action.....

Ashley, who is still struggling with injury, competed in the Masters MX1 class on his TM Racing 450cc machine at this event and it proved to be a day of mixed fortunes for him, after a relatively good start in race one left him with some work to do he battled on as best he could, finishing the first race in 16th place, whilst in Race two Ashley was at the sharp end of the field and running in second place when his luck changed and a front wheel puncture put pay to his efforts, Ashley was forced to ease off and eventually retire as he dropped down the field with a machine that was understandably difficult to control.

In the 250cc 4-Stroke dominated Amateur MX2 class it was young Chas Statt who was the 'talk of the town' on his TM Racing 125cc 2-Stroke machine. Riding superbly on the hilly circuit, which would favour the double capacity 4-Stroke machinery, Chas powered his 'little' 125cc machine around the track to finish the day with a win in race one, a holeshot and a third place in race two and another third place in race three, This amazing 1 / 3 / 3 scorecard was enough to give Chas a tied overall victory for the day. After being 'on the bench' all winter, whilst waiting for his broken leg to heal, Chas is now beginning to regain his form in leaps and bounds and is really beginning to shine under TM power, Chas now sits in 5th place in the Championship standings with further gains in his sights.

Well done to all involved and thanks to all our sponsors and supporters. Thank you.
