Enduro World Championship - GP of Greece  (Jun 21, 2011)

Kalampaka, Greece: Regardless of the strong economic crisis in Greece they still host the fifth stage of the Enduro World Champinship.
A very hard and tiring race because of the great heat, the temperature hits 40 degrees in the location of this event. An extreme test of about five minutes, one line of ten and a cross test of 4 minutes go into making up the course for this fifth round.

Lets start with the E1 class with the Factory TM and the young French pilot Julien Gauthier, The young transalpine takes off well in the morning and quickly marks up some good times, second and third chrono in class, but at the end of the day he makes a mistake that led him to crash hard, he manages to re-start but the time lost is great and in the end he finishes seventh for the day in the highly contested E1 category.

In the E2 class Aigar Leok continuous his apprentership in the Enduro scene, days full of surprises, falls and breaks so far for Aigar but this time Aigar does not make mistakes and he concludes the day coming home with a good seventh position.

Sunday starts with the mercury rising quickly, again marking 40 degrees, the already fatigued riders have not fully recuperated from Saturday due to the relentless temperatures and today will be extremely hard. The specials follow each other this morning and the positions change continuously.
.
Julien takes off in a lot of pain and discomfort because of the hard impact he recieved on Saturday, he tries to push hard straight away trying to accumulate a little advantage, knowing that he would have slowed down later on in the day, but the pain is too much for Julien and unfortunately the TM rider must stop and he is sadly forced to retire from the race.

In the E2 class the Estonian pilot takes off calmly, Aigar knows that today is going to be very difficult in the conditions and with such extreme heat, but Aigar prepared himself very well in the winter and physically is well. Saturday was a good day for Aigar and he is learning fast his new discilpine, this gives Aigar a little more confidence for today.
At the end of the day the results improve by one place, 6th position in E2 class, and going back to the paddock the number 85 still has the strength to joke with the team.
