Pleven Circuit - An all uphill battle for Thomas Chareyre this weekend who declared in some interviews to have badly mastered the Pleven track.
Saturdays starts off with good prospects with Thomas taking a promising third position in the qualifiers, however... for Thomas who always aims for the leadership, it wasn't a good result...he wants to win...always !!. With some small modifications to his TM 450Fi SMX machine the team and Thomas felt positive going into the race program on Sunday.
First Moto - A hard race, Ivan Lazzarini takes off well followed by the world ex champion Adrien Chareyre, Thomas pushes hard setting an incredible lap time time that takes him to the checked flag only half a second behind the winner, Ivan Lazzarini
Second Moto - Thomas is now determined and wants to take off hard and try to win the second race to recuperate the points lost in the first, he has pace to enable him to win the GP, but the start always hides some uorprises and usually the surprises are not good, Thomas finds himself stretched out on the ground, losing precious time, very precious time .
The TM official rider gets up, remounts the TM Factory machine and throws himself, head down in to a furious charge through the pack, but unfortunately, when you need it, time is never enough and so ends the second race in the eleventh position.
Third Moto - The strong pilot on the TM factory machine takes off for the third race in pain, due to the hard impact of the second race crash, the aim now is to save the day as best he could, trying to lose as few points as possible, Thomas holds on tight and comes home the fifth position.
Thomas ends the difficult GP of Bulgaria with an overall fourth position, 2nd overall in the world championship classification.
