Sicilia GP d'Italia  (May 18, 2011)

For the first time the ciruit of the Enduro World stops in Scicily in the beautiful area of Francavilla, a hard race made really hard because of the heat and by a following of specials that are extremely difficult and witnessed the pilots making numerous falls.
The E1 class is always a battle and apart from the first positions the rest of the pilots always fight on a few seconds to conquer a high classification position.

Julien Gauthier competing in the E1 class started off as TM Racing's number one pilot and was confident, the competition however is as fierce as the circuit itself and he can only finish in eighth place on the day, preceded by the official KTM Thomas Oldrati.
Things do not change much on Sunday, in fact the strong heat complicates things more so, lowering the performance of the pilots and this once more changes positions throughout the day, demonstrating that the candidates for the high end of the classification are different.

Julien suffered from the great heat on Sunday and with great tenacity he managed to confirm the performance of Saturday, holding on hard till the end of the race.

In the E2 the apprenticeship continues of the now ex Motocross rider Aigar Leok ,who is always taking measure at the extreme trials, to him unknown up until a month ago.Aigar takes off hard trying to attack in the cross test, but the extreme tests count a lot at the end of the classification and losing a little speed, whilst still learning his new discipline, the strong pilot Estonian conquers the 11th place, which does not satisfy him at all.

On Sunday Aigar takes off well straight away, but woe, this time it’s misfortune that attacks the TM ensign, contact in the first special damages a radiator pipe forcing Loek to return to the paddock earlier than foreseen.
