The year 2010 ended with Thomas Chareyre and TM Racing being World Champions yet again and 2011 starts with the dominance of Thomas Chareyre and his factory TM SMX 450Fi once more.
Thomas, despite suffering with a problem from a shoulder injured during the winter tests, appeared in great shape and he proved that by recording the fastest time in free practices as well as qualifying practices and winning both heats in program.
Great news from this championship was a start gate on the road off section (like Motocross) that could take away to Thomas the advantage normally attributed from the pole position. But Thomas was not worried about it and with two fast starts he led both races from the beginning going to win with great advantage over his brother Adrien in the first one, and on Massimo Beltrami in the second one.
Thomas Chareyre got the first red plate of the provisional Championship's Leader followed by Christian Ravaglia in second place and Massimo Beltrami third.
Thomas commented after the race: ".... I am very pleased about my race. My bike and my Team were perfect. Once again the proverb applies < never change a winning team > and I'm very happy to be in TM also in 2011 ....".
