Electraction TM ready for 2011 Enduro World Championship  (Mar 29, 2011)

With less than one week to go before the start of the 2011 Enduro World Championship season gets underway in Ponts, Spain, Electraction TM riders Josh Green (Australia) and Jordan Scott (Ireland) are among more than 50 Enduro Junior class riders eagerly awaiting the start of the new series. With more riders participating in the EJ class than any other in 2011 competition will undoubtedly be fierce, but both Green and Scott are ready for the challenges ahead and looking forward to what they hope will be an enjoyable and rewarding eight-event championship. In addition the team's most experienced EWC campaigner Gordon Clarke (Ireland) is set to compete in the Enduro 1 class where regular point scoring finishes are the former trials riders primary goal.

For Green 2011 represents the young Australian's best chance of securing World Championship glory to date. Learning much during his 2010 EWC campaign, despite being sidelined with injury during both the GP of Poland and GP of Slovakia Green showed that he has the pace to challenge for race wins. Standing on top of the EJ class podium at the GP of Greece with the #99 on his 250f TM this season Josh will be hoping to claim further race wins as well as challenging for class honours come the end of the 16-day series.

The 2011 Enduro World Championship will be Jordan Scott's first full assault on the world's toughest enduro series. Making his enduro debut at the final round of the 2010 series, the GP of France, Scott knows all too well that he has much to learn but is nevertheless excited about furthering his international enduro career aboard his 125cc TM. Competing in the Youth Enduro class for riders under 19 years of age on 125cc machinery, Jordan knows he'll be up against tough competition from all across Europe but is determined to show his lack of experience won't hold him back

Gordon Clarke is the team's eldest rider, with many years of international enduro experience under his belt. Although only 20 riders are entered into the E1 class for the season's opening event it's a class stacked with talent with all factory team officially represented. For Clarke the goal for 2011 is simple - try and score world championship points as often as possible aboard his 250Fi machine.

The opening round of the 2011 Enduro World Championship takes place on 1/2/3 of April in Ponts, Spain, before crossing the boarder into Portugal for round two on the 8/9/10 of April.

Josh Green, Enduro Junior class, #99: "Obviously I know exactly what I'm up against this year, but I'm really looking forward to it. There are some great riders in the Enduro Junior class so I'm looking forward to getting in the mix with them. Things didn't go exactly to plan last year what with me injuring myself in Poland, but I learned a lot and am a lot more confident now. Switching to a 250Fi is something I'm really enjoying and something I think will help me do better in all conditions. I'm loving riding the bike. It feels like everything's new again, which I'm excited about. I've not had as much time on a bike recently as I'd have liked after I injured my shoulder in Australia, before coming to the UK. But I got two great days of racing under my belt at the third and fourth rounds of the British Sprint Enduro Championship two weeks ago. It was a great final workout for me and now I'm really looking forward to the first race in Spain. I know it's going to be a long and hard championship but I'm hoping to get it started well and then keep up the hard work and try and deliver the best results I can."

Jordan Scott, Enduro Junior class, #17: " I'm really looking forward to the Enduro World Championship this season. I had no idea what I was letting myself in for when I raced in France last year and although the event was seriously difficult I loved it. I know what to expect now, which I'm hoping will make a big difference. The Enduro Junior class and the Enduro Youth class will both be extremely competitive so I know there's no point expecting too much. But I feel like I'm really riding well at the moment so I'll be giving all I can to get the best result possible. I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in to the Spanish and Portuguese events."

Gordon Clarke, Enduro 1 class, #30: "There's no getting away from the fact that the Enduro 1 class is extremely competitive but I'm really enjoying riding my 250Fi so I'm looking forward to the start of the series. Spain and Portugal are always tough but enjoyable events, so it will be interesting to see just how things go over the next two weekends. Together with Josh and Scott this first trip of 2011 into Europe is going to be great, we're all really looking forward to it."
