Edmonds And Davies Top The 250's (May 23, 2010)
TM Riders Stuart Edmonds and Jim Davies took time out of their usually hectic schedule along with fellow TM rider Ryan Pottenger to compete in the third round of the ACU British 2 Stroke Championship over 125cc class at Mepal this weekend.
With 5 races held over 2 days it was going to be a gruelling event in the bottomless sand of the Mepal circuit, with temperatures hitting 27 degrees and with very little in the way of breeze or shade it was hard work for everyone involved but the effort paid off.
Stuart, who was unlucky in two races whilst leading with one small crash and one tangle with lapping traffic costing him an overall victory, had to be content with second overall and first 250cc machine. Jim Davies also showed some good form on his 250cc TM machine working hard in the deep sand for 5 decent placings earning him 3rd overall on the day and second 250cc machine. Ryan Pottenger recovered from some early race spills in two motos to finish in 5th (to be confirmed) overall in the over 125cc class also.
