TM UK will be fielding a 4 man squad in the 2011 ACU British 2 stroke championship, the team will be split into two 125cc riders and two 250cc riders.
Jim Davies, the 2009 Fuchs Silkolene Champion and 2010 runner-up, will compete alongside team-mate Ryan Pottenger, the multi time youth and clubman Champion, in the 125 class on their TM Racing 125cc MX machines. Stuart Edmonds, the 2009 Irish MX1 and MX2 Champion, 2010 Motocross Des Nations entrant and 2010 Fuchs Silkolene Open Class runner-up (on a 250cc machine) will compete alongside fellow TM UK team member Christian Lyth in the 250/Open class on TM 250cc MX machines, this will be Christian's first season on the TM 250 machine and he will be eager to learn from seasoned 'veteran' and 2 stroke hotshot Stuart.
TM UK's Mike Woodsworth commented..." We have always tried our hardest to support all of the 2 stroke championships that we can, we firmly believe that the 2 stroke still has a vital role to play even in 'modern MX' and they deserve to be treated accordingly. TM Racing has always been regarded as having some of the finest 2 stroke machines available and with our results in all of the 2 stroke events over the years we have justified these beliefs. Lets hope the TM UK boys come up with the goods and let us all enjoy some quality racing in 2011.
