Following on from the retirement of Phillip McLaughlin, Electraction TM are pleased to announce the signing of Jordan Scott to the team. The 19-year old from Newtownards, Northern Ireland is a newcomer to the sport of enduro but it is with an illustrious schoolboy trials career before reaching the top level of Irish adult motocross within the last two seasons that Electraction TM believe Scott has the ability to transfer these skills to the world of enduro.
For the 2011 season Scott will contest the Enduro World Championship (EWC) competing in the Junior Youth Cup on a TM 125EN along with the British Enduro Championship and British Enduro Sprint Championship. The EWC GP of France on September 25th/26th will mark Jordan's first competitive outing with Electraction TM.
Nick Craigie: (Electraction TM): " I'm pleased to welcome Jordan to the team. I believe that he has the right ingredients necessary to develop into a top enduro rider. It will be a difficult transition for him into EWC competition, so we will take the next year as a learning curve to develop his skills into future success."
Jordan Scott: " I'm very thankful to Electraction TM for giving me this opportunity. I'm under no illusion as to how difficult the EWC can be, but by competing in the GP of France it will give me a benchmark on what to prepare for next year. I'm looking forward to getting started."
